Cake Storage (PLEASE READ)

Cakes are prepped 3+ days prior to shipment to allow ample timing to dry & make the journey to your doorstep. Upon arrival of your cake order, please store cakes in a cool & dry environment. It is shelf stable for up to 7-10+ days after arrival, all depending on how the cake is stored. Keep in mind these are frosted to dry hard to transport to you.

During Summer months, you can prop the lid open to allow it to air out preventing any moisture from harboring inside of the box. We take caution & dry out cakes prior to frosting to ensure the majority of the moisture is removed. 

It is well advised that you DO NOT FREEZE the cake if you plan on doing a photoshoot with your pup.

It is up to your discretion whether to refrigerate the cake if serving long after it’s arrival, but please be advised that the cold from the fridge may cause the cake to melt & compromise its aesthetic integrity. For this purpose we recommend you to take photos prior to storing it in the refrigerator. 

Do you use preservatives & are all the ingredients safe for dogs?

A: 

Our treats are preservative-free, no additives or salt. They are baked with the highest quality, human grade and natural ingredients. We do not use any low grade fillers such as wheat or corn. We use the finest quality baking ingredients, using only ingredients that are safe for your pet including treat decorations made with natural dyes and sprinkles. 

Will your treats melt?

A: Frosted treats can melt if placed in a hot environment. Store frosted treats in a cool area in an air tight container to preserve the treats & prevent melting. During Summer months it is advised to let the treats open to air as tight closed containers can harbor moisture.

What is an appropriate serving portion to give to my dogs?

A: We recommend you start with smaller portions when giving these treats to your dog for the first time as to not upset their stomach. All of our treats are intended for intermittent or supplemental feeding. Always supervise dogs when feeding them treats, especially for puppies. 

Serving size varies based on the size, exercise level, and health condition of your dog. We encourage you to speak with your veterinarian regarding recommended daily servings. Please note that treats should always be used as a snack or reward and never as a meal replacement. Always remember to provide plenty of fresh water and monitor your dog while treating.
